CHUCK & DON’S REWARDS PROGRAM, “FRIENDS OF CHUCK”
TERMS & CONDITIONS
The Friends of Chuck Rewards Program (“Program”) is sponsored by Independent Pet Partners (IPP Buyer Acquisition, LLC).
A rewards member earns points for product and service purchases made in-store or online at chuckanddons.com. Every month, points are automatically converted into reward vouchers that can be redeemed in-store or online. Members can also earn rewards (free products) through the Frequent Buyer Program (powered by Astro).
EARNING & REDEEMING REWARD VOUCHERS
Subject to these terms and conditions, a rewards member earns points for purchases made online at chuckanddons.com. Every month, points are automatically converted into reward vouchers and/or free food vouchers that can be redeemed in-store or online. One (1) point is earned for every dollar spent on products or services. IPP will round to the nearest whole dollar spent when calculating points: for example, $50.51 is rounded to 51 points while $50.49 is rounded to 50 points.
For every one (1) point, the member accumulates $0.04 in rewards. Points will be totaled at the end of each calendar month and any earned reward vouchers will be emailed to members by the 15th day of the following month. Members can use all or part of a reward voucher on a single transaction. IPP will track any remaining value on the voucher through the expiration date noted on the voucher. Points may be earned only at the time of sale by providing the email address associated with a member’s account during checkout.
Non-merchandise items such as shopping bags, donations, gift cards and tips will not earn points. No points are earned for the purchase of gift cards, but points may be earned on purchases made by redeeming gift cards. Points will not accrue on taxes or shipping charges or for any portion of a purchase paid for with reward vouchers.
Reward vouchers are treated as tender and will be applied to all purchases after the application of any coupons or discounts. Points will be deducted from any purchases that are returned or refunded. Points are not assignable or transferable and may not be combined or bundled with the points of any other member(s). Reward vouchers can be redeemed online by entering the voucher number in the “Promo code, reward voucher or gift card” field on the checkout page. IPP is not responsible for missing or stolen points or reward vouchers/free food vouchers.
Members may contact IPP Customer Service at 855-977-1119 to submit receipts for transactions that did not have their member account added at the time of purchase. The receipt information must be submitted for claims within 90 calendar days from the original transaction date. Members may have no more than three (3) receipt assignments applied to their membership account within a 30-day period and may not receive credit for a transaction occurring prior to their enrollment date.
Members will earn rewards (4% back) on all qualifying purchases made in-store or online at an IPP retail banner (currently Chuck & Don’s or Kriser’s). If a member shops across multiple retail banners, they will earn a combined reward (4% back) for their purchase. The reward will be issued by the primary banner where they shopped. The reward voucher can be used in-store at Chuck & Don’s, in-store at Kriser’s or online at the store that issued the voucher (Chuck & Don’s OR Kriser’s).
EARNING & REDEEMING FREE FOOD & TREATS THROUGH THE FREQUENT BUYER PROGRAM (Powered by ASTRO)
Members can earn additional free products by participating in the Frequent Buyer Program (powered by Astro). To earn free products, members must create an Astro Loyalty Account with a team member in-store or sign up at chuckanddons.com. To earn credits toward a Frequent Buyer Card (powered by Astro), members must provide a valid email address and phone number as part of their member account. To earn credits for online purchases, members must log in or create an online account with the same email address and click “connect Astro Loyalty Account” before completing the online transaction. Qualifying items will automatically be credited toward the member’s Frequent Buyer Program (powered by Astro) for connected accounts.
Frequent Buyer Program (powered by Astro) credits must be logged at the time of purchase, either in-store or online; credits cannot be claimed after the time of purchase.
Frequent Buyer Program (powered by Astro) rewards are set by participating manufacturers and are subject to change at the manufacturer's discretion. A new Frequent Buyer Card (powered by Astro) may be created for each size of product purchased. The lowest priced item will be free. The member is responsible for the sales tax for the free product. Additional program terms may be applied by the manufacturer.
Frequent Buyer Program (powered by Astro) rewards for in-store and online purchases are tracked separately by each IPP retail banner (currently Chuck & Don’s and Kriser’s). Members can earn Frequent Buyer Program (powered by Astro) rewards at each banner, but rewards cannot be combined.
Reward vouchers expire 45 days after issuance. Frequent Buyer Card (powered by Astro) expirations are determined by the participating manufacturer and vary by brand.
Points, reward vouchers and Frequent Buyer Cards (powered by Astro) have no cash value.
The Program is limited to individuals only and one account per individual. The Program is open to individuals who (i) are at least 18 years of age, (ii) are U.S. residents, (iii) provide and maintain a unique, valid email address, and (iv) accept these Terms and Conditions. Employee transactions do not earn points. Employees are not eligible for the Frequent Buyer Program (powered by Astro). Membership eligibility is subject to applicable law.
Individuals can enroll at any Chuck & Don’s retail location or online at chuckanddons.com. As a condition of registering as a member and maintaining membership, individuals must provide the requested contact information: a phone number and an accurate email address. Upon successful registration, the member’s email address will be used to confirm their membership when making a purchase and to receive reward vouchers via email.
Points earned on purchased items that are later returned will be deducted from a member’s account.
Returns of items purchased with reward vouchers or through the Frequent Buyer Program (powered by Astro) will be eligible for exchange in-store.
TRANSFERABILITY & CASH VALUE
Points and Frequent Buyer Cards (powered by Astro) are not transferrable or combinable with other member accounts unless specifically authorized by IPP. Accrued points and Frequent Buyer Cards (powered by Astro) do not constitute the property of the member. Points and Frequent Buyer Cards (powered by Astro) are void if sold, purchased, bartered, or exchanged for cash or other consideration or if received or used in violation of these Terms and Conditions. Points and Frequent Buyer Cards (powered by Astro) have no cash value, may not be purchased and are not redeemable for cash under any circumstances. No change/currency will be given for any unused portion of a reward voucher or Frequent Buyer Card (powered by Astro).
IPP reserves the right to make promotional offers available to select members based on purchase activity, geographic location, certain time periods, product categories, program participation and/or information supplied by the member. IPP reserves the right to add, withdraw, amend or otherwise change reward opportunities at any time at its sole discretion. Promotional rewards, such as offers to earn extra points, may be subject to activation via a click-to-activate email or through online activation and may be limited to members who have opted in to receiving marketing communications. From time to time, members may be eligible for sweepstakes, contests or other similar promotions. Participation in such events shall be subject to the terms, conditions and rules published at the time of such event and applicable laws.
Members may cancel their rewards membership at any time by contacting Customer Service at 855-977-1119 or closing their member account at any Chuck & Don’s store location. Cancellation may take 10 business days to finalize. Upon cancellation, membership will be deactivated and any available points or rewards vouchers will be forfeited. IPP, in its sole discretion, has the right to terminate a member’s membership at any time and for any reason without notice, including violating these Terms and Conditions or any conduct detrimental to IPP or otherwise not within the spirit of the Program. In the event of a member’s membership being terminated, the member forfeits available rewards and/or any other account value.
By enrolling in the Program, members agree to receive transactional emails and other communications regarding their member account from IPP. Members are encouraged to opt in to marketing communications such as advertising, promotional offers and marketing materials to be eligible for special Friends of Chuck member promotions. Members may unsubscribe from IPP promotional emails at any time via the unsubscribe link in those emails. Communications about rewards, including any changes, special promotional materials and reward notifications, will be sent to the email address provided by the member. IPP assumes no responsibility for, and is not liable for, any unauthorized access by third parties to a member’s account and/or account information.
Members are responsible for maintaining accurate and updated personal information regarding their account. IPP will not be responsible for the failure of any member to receive or redeem a reward voucher or Frequent Buyer Card (powered by Astro) in the event the member has failed to update their email address and/or phone number.
RIGHT TO AMEND
IPP reserves the right to amend, modify or discontinue the Program and these Terms and Conditions at any time and in any way in its sole discretion. If IPP amends or modifies the Program, notice of such amendment or modification will be provided on chuckanddons.com and will also be communicated via email to members. IPP may terminate the Program at any time, which may result in loss of accumulated points and reward vouchers and Frequent Buyer Cards (powered by Astro) and cancellation of all benefits and privileges associated with the Program. The Program is void where prohibited by law.
