THIS VALENTINE’S DAY, THE WAY TO THEIR HEART IS THROUGH THEIR STOMACH.
CRANBERRY FLOAT
This festive pink drink is made with goat milk for probiotics, pumpkin fiber for gut health, and cranberries for an immune boost of antioxidants and vitamin C.

- For dogs, freeze Fruitables Pumpkin Superblend in an ice cube tray. Use the recommended serving for your pet’s weight.
- Pour goat milk into a pet-safe dish. Use the recommended serving for your pet’s weight. See packaging for serving size.
- Plop the frozen cubes into the goat milk.
- Serve while it’s nice and chilly!
Note:
If your pet has a sensitive stomach, use half or less of the recommended serving for your pet’s weight of each ingredient.
HOMEMADE DOG TREATS
Ok, it’s not just love. This healthy dog treat recipe is packed with superfoods and the ultimate canine favorite, peanut butter.
Serve to:
Ingredients:
• 1 box The Honest Kitchen Superfood Pour Overs
• 1 1/2 cups gluten-free rolled oats
• 3 cups gluten-free flour
• 1/2 cup pet-safe peanut butter (NO XYLITOL)
• 1 egg lightly beaten
• 1/4 to 3/4 cups water
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 325°F. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.
- Combine rolled oats, peanut butter and Superfood Pour Overs in a large bowl. Thoroughly stir in flour and egg.
- Stir the water in gradually, starting with 1/4 cup until dough forms, but is not sticky.
- Knead the dough together then roll out dough to 1/4" thickness on a lightly floured surface. Spray the rolling pin with oil to prevent sticking.
- Cut out the cookies with a cookie cutter and place them on cookie sheets.
- Place in oven and bake for 40 minutes or until treats are dry.
- Remove from oven and let cool on racks.
- Serve up! Keep treats stored in fridge or freeze in airtight container.
Notes:
• Only use peanut butter without xylitol — it can be lethal if a pet eats it.
• Use natural or organic peanut butter that only contains peanuts.
• Peanut-free house? Use almond butter instead.
• Make sure the cookie cutter is clean to avoid pets eating something they shouldn’t.
• Flour substitutions may require additional flour or moisture.
BONE BROTH POUR-OVER DOG TREATS
For some, savory is better than sweet. This treat is made with bone broth to support digestion and provide nutrients for a strong immune system and healthy skin and coat.
Serve to:
Ingredients:
- 5.5 oz Bone Broth
- 2 1/2 cups gluten-free flour
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup grated carrot
- 1 egg
- 1/8 cup water
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 325°F. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.
- Add flour, parsley and baking soda to a large bowl and combine well.
- Add Bone Broth, grated carrot and egg to the mix and combine.
- Slowly add water to the mixture until a firm dough is formed. You may not need all the water, as this can turn the dough sticky.
- Knead the dough for about 3 minutes. Let stand for about 3 minutes to begin to become firmer.
- Roll dough out onto a floured surface to ½ inch thickness and cut using cookie cutters. Spray rolling pin with oil to prevent sticking.
- Place cookies onto the parchment paper-lined baking sheets.
- Bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove from oven and let cool on racks for an hour. Keep treats stored in the fridge or freeze them an in airtight container.
