Ronald McDonald House works with local recycling centers to receive money for collecting tabs from aluminum cans. You can help! Pick-up a collection container at any Chuck & Don’s, or drop-off your pop tabs at Chuck & Don’s.

Meet Katie K9 at Chuck & Don’s!
Anyone who listens to the Katie K9 show on FM107.1, Sundays from 4 - 6pm knows how much she loves pets. Katie K9 has over 26 years of experience in canine obedience training. On Katie’s radio show, she offers simple “K-9” advice.
This fall, Katie will be at Chuck & Don’s stores. This is your chance to meet Katie K9 and learn some tips for your dog from her time honored training methods. Katie will help give you and your dog the inspiration and motivation to make your dog shine as a life long, well-mannered companion!
Katie K9's new book Simple Cooking for Dogs 101, details the importance of adding "people food" to your dog's diet to supplement commercial food. See recipes that cater to your dog's tastes while making it possible for them to live longer happier lives. Released October 1, its only available from Katie's website or in-store at her appearances at Chuck & Don's. See these at left.
Animal Communicator
Teri Ann Lapsey, a nationally known animal communicator, offers 15-minute sessions with your pet for $20 per session. Bring in five questions to ask about your pet. Find out why your pet does those fun silly things that make you laugh. The information Teri receives is meant to be used as a guideline for you to live with your pet. Portrait photographer Patrick Nau will be at Chuck & Don’s stores providing the in-store holiday portrait sessions. Packages start at $40. See the photo schedule below for specific dates and times.If you are unable to make it to a portrait session at the stores, you can also schedule a portrait session with Patrick at his Minneapolis studio. Chuck & Don’s is proud to be one of the sponsors for the Pet Haven’s 2008 Fall Benefit event. Pet Haven is an all-volunteer foster-based animal rescue. Money raised will help support Pet Haven’s adoption and spay/neuter programs.

Basset Buddies Rescue volunteers will be available for adoption information and general questions. BBR rescues basset hounds because an owner can no longer take care of their pet due to death, divorce, or another major life change. Bring in your Boxer, or learn more about them. Minnesota Boxer Rescue’s dedicated volunteers will be on hand with information and answers.
Roseville store

Trimming your cat’s nails is not just a part of grooming, it’s important for their health as well. This is a great opportunity to learn how to care for and properly trim your cat’s nails. All cats MUST be in carriers. For details, call 651-287-0986.
If your dog has a barking problem, this could be an option worth learning about. Bark Busters is an in-home training system designed to teach dog owners how to take control.
