Why do you advertise coprophagia deterrent and when I look it up in your search box nothing is available
Thank you for writing. We do carry products for coprophagia. However, since most people don’t know the clinical name for eating feces – one can find it with the key words “eating poop.” Coprophagia is a common problem in some puppies, which usually clears up by adulthood.
A good start to cure this problem is to find out why your dog is doing this – it most likely is a behavior issue but it could also be a signal for higher quality food, more food, less food, or more frequent meals. We do have a supplement that you can add to your dog’s food so that he/she will not eat his/her own poop. It is from Solid Gold and is called SEP (Stop Eating Poop.)
Also, please note if this is a new behavior for an adult dog, I would suggest that your dog be checked out by your vet for any underlying medical problems since there are numerous medical issues that can cause or contribute to coprophagia.
Call or visit your local Chuck and Don’s for further assistance.
