More Than an Online Store
In January 2017, Chuck & Don’s purchased Fetch, a pet food and supplies e-commerce platform, servicing the Minneapolis area. What’s new? In addition to being your local destination pet supply store, (now named Chuck & Don’s Delivers) offers delivery to Twin Cities and Denver store areas. Delivery is free for orders over $49 otherwise, it’s just $5.50.* Customers can also save $5 with every $125 purchased online and 5% with recurring orders.
The Fetch Story
Fetch was founded by Jay Cowan in 2006 with a simple mission statement: Never run out of pet food again.
Prior to 2006, Jay had achieved success founding, operating and selling a local pet food retail store in Minneapolis. Using the insights from that experience, and enthusiasm for emerging technology, Jay brought together several talented individuals. He leveraged their diverse professional backgrounds in pet care, technology, marketing and business to build a locally focused pet food and supply delivery company that would operate online with a virtual storefront and deliver right to your door. FetchDelivers.co was born.
Continuing a focus on the local community, Fetch formed long-running partnerships with locally based animal rescues Safe Hands and MARS (Midwest Animal Rescue Services). Fetch donated the use of their warehouse space on weekends for these organizations and others to host meet & greet adoption events and fundraisers. Fetch also created ways for supporters of these rescues to donate a portion of the revenue from their personal orders with Fetch back to those organizations.
In 2010, Fetch welcomed Rory Malone as the Director of Operations. Since that time, Rory has focused on delivering best-in-class customer support. From management of customer order logistics to offering customers extensive product knowledge, Rory was always there to answer questions. In an increasingly competitive marketplace for pet food and supplies, customers remained loyal to Fetch as a primary result of his dedication to them and to meeting the food and supply needs for their pets.
During the Chuck & Don’s transition, Rory Malone joined the Chuck & Don’s team to continue his excellent customer service, and to extend his service and product knowledge to Chuck & Don’s customers.
