| QUESTION:
We have two 16 year old cats. One is having beginning signs of renal failure. The vet said to give them low protein and and low phosphorus canned cat food. Right now they eat science diet adult dry food and like it. What do you suggest? Thank you. |
| ANSWER:
Hi Carole, I am sorry to hear that your cat is experiencing signs of renal failure. It is good that your pet is under the care of a vet. Since your cat is already under the care of a vet, I would suggest that you ask for a food recommendation from your vet. We carry a wide range of cat food and most likely will be able to help you with whatever the vet recommends (with the exception of prescription foods which we do not carry). Thanks for contacting me and I hope all goes well for you and your cat. "The Chuck" |
