| QUESTION:
I recently adopted a domestic shorthair 6 year old cat. She had diarrhea at the adoption center, and continues to have this problem after two months with me. She is FLT negative, as well as fecal negative. I've been feeding her blue buffalo dry food and fancy feast wet food. She eats both (isn't finicky) but I don't think the kibble is what she needs and want to change it. Also, she's lost her breakfast (wet food) several times...but that isn't a constant thing. Can you recommend the best indoor cat food (dry and/or wet) that may help with her intestinal issues? |
| ANSWER:
Hi Helen, I'm sorry to hear your cat has a sensitive stomach. We sell a limited ingredient cat food call California Natural that might work for your cat. It is limited to one protein and one carbohydrate. Sometimes this will work for a sensitive stomach. They also have canned foods that are limited. Please feel free to come in and talk to a Team Member, we can get more information and help you choose a food that will work for your cat. I hope this helps. Thanks for the question. "The Chuck" |
