PINS FOR PETS... bowl for the fix - Sunday, August 15
May 24, 2010; Mahtomedi, MN - Pet overpopulation is growing problem that spay or neutering pets can help eliminate. The Pins For Pets…bowl for the fix event was created to help raise money to help end pet overpopulation. The 2010 Pins For Pets recipient is the Minnesota Spay Neuter Assistance Program (MN SNAP).
Which means every bowler, non-bowler, and animal lover should plan to bowl, or sponsor someone in the Pins For Pets fundraiser on Sunday, August 15th at Flaherty’s Arden Bowl in Arden Hills, 1273 West County Road E at North Snelling in Arden Hills. The festivities start with a 2:30 check-in and bowling begins at 3:00pm.
To register: Just go to www.PinsForPets.org and click on the registration page. There is a $20 registration fee for each person who is participating, which covers the cost of bowling, shoe rental, and dinner (the registration fee does not apply towards pledges).
By supporting Pins For Pets and the Minnesota Spay Neuter Assistance Program (MN SNAP), all of us can help reduce the number of animals entering shelters, and that is essential to ending pet overpopulation.
The Minnesota Spay Neuter Assistance Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and provides 100% of the funding and support for the first fully equipped veterinary clinic on wheels. The MN SNAP mobile unit delivers high-quality spay and neuter services for animals belonging to shelters, rescues and low-income pet owners in Minnesota. MN SNAP can reach neighborhoods where cost, transportation, or the absence of veterinary services is an obstacle to obtaining animal health care and spay-neuter services.
